Daniel Baumann

I’m from Oradell, NJ and obtained my undergraduate degree in Biology from Boston College. Following completion, I worked as a research assistant at Boston Children’s Hospital and Dana Farber Cancer Institute studying allergy and immunotherapy. I has also worked as a research assistant at the University of Minnesota in Dr. Emilyn Alejandro’s lab studying pancreatic development. I began my graduate program in Integrative Biology and Physiology in 2017, with Dr. Osborn as my adviser. My project is aimed at understanding how the inflammatory environment present in hypertension interacts with the nervous system to drive the pathological state. I am currently is supported by the Minnesota Obesity Prevention Training grant.
